Salary: R227,255 per annum (Total Cost to Employer package), 22% Rural Allowance, and Commuted Overtime (subject to departmental approval).

About the Role
Rietvlei Hospital is seeking a Clinical Manager to oversee HAST (HIV, AIDS, STI, and TB) services.
The successful candidate will be in Manage clinical services, Support training and research and Implement quality assurance frameworks across all levels of patient care
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver effective, comprehensive clinical services at inpatient, outpatient, and outreach levels
- Ensure high standards of patient care within the HAST component
- Provide strategic and operational oversight of clinical service delivery
- Manage clinical administration effectively
- Support policy development and implementation
- Promote education, training, mentoring, and research
- Facilitate clinical learning and adherence to medical standards
- Develop and enforce quality assurance programs
- Ensure alignment with provincial, national, and international healthcare standards
Minimum Requirements
- Senior Certificate / Grade 12
- MBChB degree or equivalent medical qualification
- Current registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Practitioner
- Minimum 3 years post-registration experience as a Medical Practitioner
- Certificate of service endorsed by Human Resources

- Public Health legislation, PFMA, and Labour Relations Act
- National/provincial health policies and patient rights charter
- HPCSA regulations and institutional frameworks
- Strong clinical and administrative skills
- Leadership and organizational planning
- Conflict management and problem-solving
