Salary: R1,227,255 per annum; 22% rural allowance (based on basic salary); optional medical aid and housing allowance (subject to requirements).

About the Role
Othobothini CHC is seeking a Clinical Manager to provide leadership in the delivery of healthcare services. The successful candidate will Provide clinical oversight, Ensure quality assurance and Manage human and financial resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all medical, pharmacy, and allied health services staff.
- Ensure 24-hour medical coverage in line with commuted overtime policies.
- Oversee quality clinical care and the development of guidelines and protocols.
- Lead morbidity & mortality reviews, audits, and continuous quality improvement.
- Guide budget planning and resource allocation for the medical and allied health components.
- Ensure effective clinical governance and uphold patient rights.
- Drive risk management and compliance with statutory regulations
- Manage Employee Performance and Development System.
- Mentor medical staff and facilitate skills development.
- Promote ethical and professional care standards across all clinical departments.
Minimum Requirements:
- Senior Certificate/Grade 12.
- MBChB degree or equivalent.
- Valid HPCSA registration as a Medical Practitioner (proof required only if shortlisted) 2025 HPCSA Council receipt.
- Valid Code EB driver’s licence.
- At least 6 years post-registration experience as a Medical Officer.
- Shortlisted candidates must provide proof of work experience verified by employer (endorsed & stamped)
